Started preparations for departure by packing up two coolers of food and by placing our 66 DVD's and GameCube games into CD cases.

7/28/02
Returned to LA Home Base with our mode of transportation: The Kirkman Family Van. A 7 passenger conversion van fitted with several amenities. Refrigerator, fold down bed, television, VCR, 8 speaker stereo, CB Radio, horizontal blinds and 8 beverage cup holders. This monster of the road will be our home on wheels for 10 days.
